Keberagaman (Diversity)

Istilah diversity mengacu kepada menghargai dan memperoleh manfaat dari perbedaan-perbedaan pribadi.  Perbedaan ini menunjukkan berbagai variabel termasuk ras, agama, warna kulit, jender, bangsa, cacat tubuh, orientasi seks, umur, edukasi, asal daerah, dan karakteristik ketrampilan, seperti halnya juga perbedaan dalam gagasan, pemikiran, disiplin akademis, dan perspektif.

Kriteria Baldrige mengacu kepada keberagaman pegawai yang bekerja dan komunitas pelanggan.  Kapitalisasi keduanya dapat meningkatkan peluang untuk kinerja tinggi; kepuasan pelanggan, pegawai, dan komunitas; serta loyalitas pelanggan dan pegawai.

Diversity

The term “diversity” refers to valuing and benefiting from personal differences. These differences address many variables including race, religion, color, gender, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, age, education, geographic origin, and skill characteristics, as well as differences in ideas, thinking, academic disciplines, and perspectives.

The Baldrige Criteria refer to the diversity of your employee hiring and customer communities. Capitalizing on both provides enhanced opportunities for high performance; customer, employee, and community satisfaction; and customer and employee loyalty.
