The term 'Approach' was first introduced in the Baldrige Glossary in 2000.
Approach
The term “approach”
refers to the methods used by an organization to address the
Baldrige
Criteria Item requirements.
Approach includes the appropriateness of the methods to the
Item
requirements and to the organization's operating
environment, as well as how
effectively
the methods are used. Approach is one of the dimensions considered in evaluating Process Items. For further description, see the Scoring System. |
