Approach - Baldrige Glossary definition for

The term “approach” refers to the methods used by an organization to address the Baldrige Criteria Item requirements. Approach includes the appropriateness of the methods to the Item requirements and to the organization's operating environment, as well as how effectively the methods are used.

Approach is one of the dimensions considered in evaluating Process Items. For further description, see the Scoring System.

the methods used to accomplish the process
the appropriateness of the methods to the Item requirements and to the organization's operating environment
the effectiveness of your use of the methods
the degree to which the approach is repeatable and based on reliable data and information (i.e., systematic)
by an organization to address the Baldrige Criteria Item requirements. Approach includes , as well as how effectively the methods are used.
