Paul Steel made his "Evolution of Excellence" keynote presentation to the heads of the Asian National Productivity Organizations at the request of Mr. Shigeo Takenaka, Secretary General of the Asian Productivity Organization (APO) Tokyo, Japan. Paul's presentation reviewed the history of excellence approaches from the early days of inspection through the popularity of the Baldrige Quality Criteria and beyond including a forecast the future of what achieving unsurpassed excellence will require. Paul Steel is indebted to the Malaysian Productivity Corporation (MPC) for inviting him to speak.
