Baldrige Excellence International: Philippines

Simply stated, I believe the popularity and value of my assessments, training and consulting is due to the effective sharing of what I have learned from assessing several of the world's best organizations. I have assessed twelve national and international excellence award winners (Baldrige and EFQM) since 2007 - far more than anyone else. More than the valuable knowledge I gain from this insight, I enable participants to actually use what they learn when they return to their organization. I do this by demonstrating the tools they need and train them using simulated exercises. This includes demonstrating the best process management technology I developed and providing this technology at no extra charge. This tool guides any organization step-by-step to achieving world-class excellence.

I first became involved with the Philippines when I was invited to help launch the 'Oscars' internal quality award for the Lopez Group of Companies/First Philippines Holding Company (FPHC) on 2002. My roles were to conduct a seminar in 'Best Practices in Achieving Excellence Using the Baldrige Criteria', to train the internal Oscars Award Examiners, and to provide guidance on how to conduct the award program. The Oscars received top management support from the start and it continues to enjoy this essential support today. Top senior leaders including Oscar Lopez participated and I was fortunate to be invited to dinner with him. He was most interested in learning about my experience with sustaining successful organizations.
