2008 Baldrige Site Visit Preparation Guide
A site visit validates your performance relative to the Baldrige Criteria and Scoring Guidelines. You don't need to pursue the Baldrige Award to benefit from a site validation visit. You don't even have to write an application. Organizations use a site validation visit for purposes of reality-based (not paper-based) assessment, deployment evaluation, integration determination, and accelerating improvement.
The 2008 Baldrige Site Visit Preparation Guide helps clarify what a site visit is and how to best prepare. This guide was developed by Paul Steel who as a Baldrige Senior Examiner served as team leader for four Baldrige site visits and who as a consultant has led more than 100 site visits worldwide (North America, Europe, the Middle East, Australasia, and Asia Pacific) and nearly one hundred site visits including several for Baldrige winners and other international excellence awards winners.
Here are some photos from site visits at Premier, Bronson, and in Saudi Arabia.
